About

Chappers Photography - Lee Chapman

My name is Lee Chapman, and I run Chappers Photography, a small independent business built around hands-on workshops and courses. I work with photographers of all abilities, helping them build confidence and develop practical skills. As a qualified lecturer with over 20 years’ experience, teaching photography is something I’m truly passionate about.

In 2024, my workshops were ‘Highly Commended’ for Experience of the Year at the Staffordshire Good Food & Tourism Awards. I’ve also delivered sessions for organisations including the RAF Museums, Severn Valley Railway, and Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust.

I’m based at High Ash Farm in Abbots Bromley, where I run workshops and showcase my work. Alongside teaching, I cover events, live music, sport, and commercial photography, and I’m available for weddings, family shoots, and business work.

Photography is more than a job for me—it’s a passion. I’m always out shooting, whether it’s wildlife, landscapes, or events, continually refining my skills to share with others. Aviation photography is a particular favourite, and I’ve had six books published featuring my historic aviation images.

I also regularly deliver talks and presentations to camera clubs, both in person and online.
