About the event

Join us for an exhilarating day of photography at the enchanting Black Country Living Museum, where history comes alive! We’ll be capturing stunning situational portraits and dynamic group scenes alongside an incredible line-up of reenactors. Get ready to meet Heritage Day celebrities Mark & Sam, who will dazzle us with their brand new impression inspired by the legendary Lee Miller, as well as The Great Uncles, PB Entertainment, and the talented professional actor Chris!

The museum itself is a superb photography subject on it's own, with authentic period buildings mostly, moved brick-by-brick from their original locations across the region. As well as photography there will be time to stop for a drink (of real beer!!) in the pub or good old fish and chips.

Expect an exciting roster of around 10-15 reenactors, primarily embracing our vibrant 1940s theme, but stay tuned for some delightful surprises from other eras that will…
