Aviation Photography Workshop: The RAF in Lincolnshire

The Royal Air Force have a long-standing association with the Lincolnshire. During the Second World War the county became the heart and soul of bomber command with several air bases popping up to launch bombing raids into Germany and beyond. Today this legacy continues, and the surviving airbases are a hub of activity. With RAF Coningsby being home to several Typhoon squadrons and RAF Waddington playing host to the RAF’s intelligence services and the RAF Red Arrows. Other smaller bases can be found near by, and the aviation heritage is rich too. Our workshop will aim to take in the best of these locations.
