Following a 4 hour boat trip we will then head to the near by nature reserve to capture the gannets and other seabirds as they nest in huge colonies near by

About the event
Gannets dive in to the water at up to speeds of 60mph to catch their prey, which includes large fish such as Mackerel, Pollock and Herring. This workshop is designed to capture images of these incredible birds as they gather together in feeding frenzies, diving in to the sea in their hundreds. Following a 4 hour boat trip we will then head to the near by nature reserve to capture the gannets and other seabirds as they nest in huge colonies just below our feet. We expect to see more Gannets, Puffins, Razorbills, Guillemots, Kittiwakes and more!Â
We will be departing from Bridlington Harbour in the morning (sailing time TBC) and sailing around Flamborough Headland and then along to Bempton Cliffs. We will be chumming (throwing dead fish) to encourage the Gannets close to the boat, giving us excellent opportunities to capture images of these stunning birds diving in to the sea, surfacing…
