Red Kite Hide Photography Workshop

Join us for a comprehensive photography workshop at the renowned Red Kite feeding station in Wales. Participants will have the opportunity to observe and photograph over one hundred Red Kites and several Buzzards during feeding. Our exclusive hide provides a prime vantage point for capturing the action, with complete photography support and instruction available.

This workshop is hosted at Gigrin Farm in mid-Wales, considered the premier location in the UK for close encounters with these majestic birds. Historically, Gigrin Farm was crucial in the conservation of Red Kites, serving as their last refuge in Britain. Thanks to the foresight of local farmers, the species was preserved from extinction at this very site. For years, the staff have conducted regular mid-afternoon feedings, attracting birds from afar.
